Isoflavon 300 Wild Yams contains a standardized yam extract with 20% diosgenin as well as extracts from soy and red clover. The product is supplemented with vitamin D and folic acid. Vitamin D is involved in calcium absorption and helps maintain healthy bones. Folic acid is particularly important for women who want to have children. A daily intake of 400 µg increases the folic acid status and thus reduces the risk of neural tube defects in the unborn child. Supplementation should be taken one month before pregnancy and in the first three months after conception.
