Kerato VitA eye ointment 5 g
Kerato VitA® is a preservative-free eye ointment containing petrolatum, liquid paraffin, lanolin, cetostearyl alcohol, and purified water, along with vitamin A, vitamin E, and D-panthenol.
Kerato VitA® is used to long-term improve tear film quality and provide intensive protection for the ocular surface. The product's cell-protective properties enable normal re-epithelialization in cases of dryness-related disorders.
Thanks to its delicate and soft consistency, Kerato VitA® spreads easily across the ocular surface. The product's ingredients, especially vitamin A, a natural component of the tear film, ensure particularly good tolerability. Kerato VitA® reduces symptoms such as burning, dryness, and eye fatigue. Blinking becomes easier.
D-panthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid in the body, is a B vitamin. D-panthenol increases water-binding capacity, is well absorbed by the skin, and has moisturizing properties.
Kerato VitA® provides long-lasting relief from symptoms of dryness, irritation, or mild irritation, particularly those caused by
environmental factors such as air conditioning, wind, or air pollution caused by cigarette smoke;
eye strain caused by prolonged viewing, such as at a monitor screen, through a microscope, or during long car rides; or
mechanical stress, such as from wearing hard or soft contact lenses or undergoing eye diagnostic procedures. For long-term improvement in tear film quality and intensive protection of the eye surface, Kerato VitA® is typically
applied
three times daily. For intensive and long-lasting results, it is especially recommended for irritated eyes to be applied before bedtime.
Remove the cap from the tube, tilt your head back slightly, gently pull down your lower eyelid, and while gently squeezing the tube, place an approximately 0.5 cm strip of the preparation into the conjunctival sac. Slowly close your eye, then carefully close the tube.
The preparation should be used continuously for more than 30 days.
