product containing lactoferrin in the form of a suspension in drops. It contains 100 mg of lactoferrin in 12 drops. Lactoferrin - the product uses a raw material in which bovine lactoferrin constitutes 95% of the protein. Lactoferrin is produced by freeze-drying and saturated with iron ions. Bovine lactoferrin is distinguished by a high degree of similarity (69%) to human lactoferrin. A pure composition – free from fillers, preservatives, and synthetic dyes. The product has no added sugar (the product contains naturally occurring sugars) and is gluten-free.
Lactoferrin
is a protein naturally produced by the body by epithelial cells with a secretory function and neutrophils (cells of the immune system). Lactoferrin is found in the highest concentration in colostrum, which is the first milk produced by the mother after childbirth (7 mg/ml), and human milk (3 mg/ml). They can also be found in body secretions such as saliva, tears, sweat, cerebrospinal fluid, and respiratory secretions. Lactoferrin is a protein from the transferrin family that has a strong and reversible ability to bind iron ions. The preparation can be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

The drops can be administered directly into the mouth or added to a liquid (e.g., water, milk, juice) at a temperature below 37°C. Lactoferrin denatures, so it should not be added to hot liquids.
