LADYCUP S menstrual cup small
Pack size:1 piece
Product features:
LadyCup menstrual cup
We congratulate you on purchasing the most modern product for women's intimate hygiene. It is made of valuable medical silicone, which is used exclusively in the medical and food industries. This makes it possible to leave the menstrual cup inserted in the body for up to 12 hours. The shape and surface of LadyCup have been adapted for easy use and cleaning.
Advantages:
- no allergies.
- does not cause mold and urinary infections.
- no known cases of toxic shock syndrome.
- healthy vaginal flora is maintained.
- Use during sports, travelling, while sleeping, etc.
- Can be used with common contraceptives.
Insertion:
Wash your hands thoroughly before handling LadyCup. Sterilize LadyCup before first insertion! We recommend a sitting, squatting, kneeling or standing position for insertion. Try one of these positions and choose the one that suits you best. For easier insertion, you can moisten LadyCup with water or use a water-soluble lubricant. Squeeze LadyCup together and then fold LadyCup in half. Hold LadyCup as low as possible with one hand and insert LadyCup diagonally towards your back into the vagina. The correct position for LadyCup is not as deep as with a tampon. After insertion, release your fingers so that LadyCup can fully unfold and adhere. Check this by feeling the outer wall of the menstrual cup.
Use:
Empty LadyCup at least once every 12 hours, depending on the strength of your menstrual flow.
Removal:
Wash your hands thoroughly before removing LadyCup! In the position you have chosen (sitting, standing, etc.), feel for the stem or the base of the LadyCup. You can also help yourself by squeezing the vaginal muscles, which will push the LadyCup out. Squeeze the lower part of the LadyCup and once the negative pressure has been released, you can easily pull the LadyCup out. When removing the cup for the first time, it is very important to be calm and relax your body. If you cannot remove the LadyCup in this way, use your finger to pull it out, which will release the negative pressure and separate the cup from the vaginal wall. You can then easily pull the LadyCup out. Empty the contents of the cup into the toilet.
Reuse:
Clean the LadyCup with warm water if possible, or with a natural detergent (LadyGel) if necessary. Rinse the LadyCup thoroughly under running water so that it is ready for the next use. When travelling or if you do not have water available, you can also use clean toilet paper and then clean the LadyCup later as far as possible.
SHORTENING THE STEM:
You can shorten the stem to the length you want. We recommend shortening it gradually to find the right length. You can cut the stem completely or only partially with a sharp pair of scissors. It is important not to damage the lower part of LadyCup! At the right length, you should not notice the stem when walking or sitting.
Cleaning and care:
During menstruation, clean LadyCup with warm water and a natural detergent. After menstruation, LadyCup must be boiled or sterilized. This is also recommended before reuse. Boiling: in a container of water for 2-5 minutes. Sterilization: immerse in the sterilization solution (follow the instructions of the sterilization agent manufacturer). Check that the small vacuum openings in the upper part of LadyCup are free; these can be cleaned with a pin, for example. Correct and regular care will extend the life of the menstrual cup. Store LadyCup in the enclosed cotton bag. Do not use airtight packaging!
Troubleshooting:
Insertion:
Some women may have problems inserting LadyCup in size S(mall). We recommend moistening LadyCup with water or using a water-soluble lubricant.
Removal:
Remain calm during removal. It is important that your muscles are completely relaxed, especially the vaginal muscles. Try changing your position when removing the cup. Squeeze the vaginal muscles together and push the LadyCup out in this way. Repeat the squeeze several times until you notice a more noticeable displacement of the LadyCup. If the LadyCup is leaking, check your insertion position. It is likely that the LadyCup has not been inserted correctly. Check (with a finger) that your LadyCup is fully unfolded and that the cup walls are touching the vaginal walls. Check that the small vacuum openings are clear. If none of the above solutions solve the problem, the cause is probably that the wrong size has been chosen. With the L(arge) size, the problem can be solved by exercising certain muscles. Ask your gynecologist about this possibility.

Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a very rare but very serious toxic disease. It is caused by toxins produced by bacteria living in the human body. TSS is associated with the use of tampons. Symptoms: You suddenly feel severe nausea during your period, even if you were previously completely healthy. If you have a high fever (39°C or more), vomiting, diarrhea, headache, sore throat, fainting, muscle pain or a rash like a skin burn, consult a doctor immediately. If you already have TSS, consult your doctor about further use of LadyCup. However, menstrual cups are not associated with this disease (TSS).
