1 g of gel contains 8.5 mg (1000 IU) of heparin sodium.
LIOTON 1000 gel 50g, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, subcutaneous hematoma, contusion Action:
A preparation with local anticoagulant, anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory action. Heparin is detected in the blood up to 24 h after topical administration; the maximum concentration appears after 8 hours. Excretion occurs mainly through the kidneys.

Supportive in superficial vein diseases: in phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, subcutaneous hematomas, contusions, edema and in the prevention and treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients or parabens. Do not use on open or infected wounds, mucous membranes, skin changes of unknown origin and in the case of bleeding. Children (safety of use has not been determined).
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: The safety of use during pregnancy and breast-feeding has not been established (no studies) - be careful.
Dosage LIOTON 1000 gel 50g, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, subcutaneous hematoma, contusion:
Externally: 1-3 times a day apply on average 3-10 cm gel, then massage gently.
