What is Hepar-Stannum and what is it used for?
Hepar-Stannum is an anthroposophical medicine for liver diseases.
According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include: Basic remedy for liver therapy to balance solidifying and dissolving tendencies, especially in fatty liver, chronic liver inflammation, liver cirrhosis.
How should Hepar-Stannum be used?
Always use Hepar-Stannum exactly as your doctor has told you.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is: 1 ml subcutaneously injected 2 to 3 times weekly.
The potency level suitable for treatment is selected by the doctor according to the respective clinical picture and prescribed individually for the patient.
The subcutaneous injection is usually given in the thigh or the outside of the upper arm or in the abdominal region. After cleaning the injection site (e.g. by rubbing with 70% alcohol), form a fold of skin and insert the injection needle at an angle. Pull the syringe plunger back slightly. If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit. In this case, repeat the injection at a different location.
If no blood appears, inject slowly, then remove the needle and briefly press the puncture site with a swab.
In any case, it is recommended that you learn the injection technique from an experienced person.
