Acute diarrhea? Loperamide PUREN acute orodispersible tablets quickly relieve acute diarrhea
Acute diarrhea is a common gastrointestinal symptom. The causes can be varied, from infections and food intolerances to stress or medication.
Treating acute diarrhea with the well-known active ingredient loperamide aims to relieve symptoms, reduce stool frequency, and protect the body from dehydration.
The use of loperamide for acute diarrhea is well established and is often recommended as the first choice for symptomatic treatment. By reducing the frequency of stools, loperamide enables the body to better absorb fluids and electrolytes, which reduces fluid loss and minimises the risk of dehydration and further complications.
