Magne B6 Forte is a medication
indicated for supplementing magnesium and/or vitamin B6 deficiencies in the body. It is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency may include nervousness, mood swings, lethargy, muscle cramps, tingling, and eyelid twitching. Heart palpitations or gastrointestinal spasms may also indicate a deficiency.
Properties
: Magne B6 Forte contains magnesium ions and pyridoxine hydrochloride. Magnesium is a cation that is essential for the proper functioning of numerous biochemical processes in the body. Its biological role is to activate many enzymes. Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It supports normal muscle function and electrolyte balance. It also has a beneficial effect on the proper functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal psychological functions. It also helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and plays a role in the process of cell division. It is only partially absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, and its degree of absorption depends on its content in food. Vitamin B6 intensifies the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract by 20-40%, facilitates its transport into the body's cells, and helps maintain its intracellular stores at optimal levels.
Composition:
1 coated tablet contains active ingredients: 100 mg of magnesium ions in the form of magnesium citrate and 10 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), excipients: anhydrous lactose, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate; coating composition: hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc.
Dosage:
Children 6 years of age or older (body weight approx. 20 kg): 10 to 30 mg/kg of body weight per day, i.e. 2-4 tablets per day, in 2-3 divided doses.
Adults: 3 to 4 tablets daily in 2-3 divided doses.
Magne B6 Forte should be taken with meals and water.
Important information:
This medicine is contraindicated in case of allergy to the active substances or any of its other ingredients. It should not be used in cases of severe renal impairment or concomitant use of levodopa. Magne B6 Forte should be stored at room temperature, out of the reach of children.
