• Medical device MEPITEL specialist dressing is intended for use in the treatment of a wide range of wounds, including skin tears and abrasions, surgical wounds, second-degree burns, blisters, lacerated wounds. Size: 7.5cm x 10cm.

Composition MEPITEL Specialist Dressing 7.5 x 10 cm:

Transparent polyamide mesh dressing coated on both sides with a Safetac® layer, sterile.

Medical device MEPITEL Specialist Dressing is a semi-transparent contact dressing that is covered on both sides with a layer of Safetac® soft silicone that reduces pain. An important feature of the dressing is that it adapts to the skin without sticking to the moist wound bed, which allows its removal with minimal risk of wound or skin damage. The layer of Safetac® soft silicone protects new, young tissue and intact skin, thus supporting undisturbed healing. It seals the wound edges, which protects the surrounding skin from maceration. The mesh structure allows exudate to drain into an absorbent secondary dressing. The dressing can be left in place, while providing access to local treatment. The integrity of the dressing allows it to be left in place for up to 14 days and the secondary dressing to be changed without disturbing healing. The product does not leave any residue and maintains its properties for a long time. Thanks to the transparent structure, the healing progress can be quickly assessed without removing the contact layer.

Application:

Medical device MEPITEL Specialist dressing intended for use in the treatment of a wide range of wounds - acute and chronic with low to very high exudation, such as skin tears and abrasions, surgical incisions, second-degree burns, blisters, lacerations, fixation of full and partial thickness grafts, diabetic ulcers and ulcers of venous and arterial origin, which has been clinically proven. Size: 7.5cm x 10cm.

This is a medical device. Use it according to the instructions for use or label. Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect from moisture and light.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients.

How to use MEPITEL Specialist Dressing 7.5 x 10 cm:

Use as intended. The dressing should be changed depending on the condition of the wound and the type of absorbent secondary dressing, on average every 5-7 days. The medical staff decides whether the dressing needs to be changed. The dressing can be left on the wound for up to 14 days, in the final phase of healing. This dressing should be used together with Mesorb® or Mextra® Superabsorbent inserts (for highly exuding wounds), as well as with fixation using a Tubifast® bandage.
