MERCURIUS HEEL S tablets

Indications:

Furuncles, carbuncles and other suppuration's, including, for example, those in the (peri) tonsillar tissue.

For the temporary relief of minor skin infections with a tendency to suppurate including carbuncles, blisters and boils.

Based on the individual homoeopathic constituents of Mercurius-Heel S, therapeutic possibilities result for the treatment of purulent and abscess forming reaction phases such as furuncles, carbuncles, tonsillar abscesses, sudoriparous abscesses, whitlows, pyodermia, sycosis barbae, alveolar abscesses, pyelitis, enterocolitis, empyema, auxiliary remedy for numerous skin diseases, eczema (weeping) and dermatoses, also for cystitis, balanitis, metritis.

Dosage:
In general, 1 tablet dissolved under the tongue 3 times daily.

Acute dosage - 1 tablet every 15 minutes over a period of 2 hours in addition to the above standard dosage.

Indication group:
Homeopathic medicine for diseases of the skin and the mouth and throat.

Areas of application:
The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: Supportive treatment of inflammatory and purulent skin diseases, such as boils and carbuncles, and supportive treatment of inflammation and suppuration of the tonsils.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients or to Asteraceae. For fundamental reasons, Echinacea must not be used in the case of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-like diseases, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue (collagenosis), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection or other chronic viral diseases.

Precautions for use:
You should consult your doctor in the case of severe inflammation or suppuration of the skin or tonsils, or in the case of fever that lasts longer than 3 days or rises above 39 °C. Ask your doctor for advice before using any medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is insufficient experience with the use of the medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children between 1 and 12 years of age.

Interactions:
None known. General note: The effect of a homeopathic medicine can be adversely influenced by generally harmful lifestyle factors and by stimulants and stimulants. If you are taking other medicines, ask your doctor.

Warnings:
This medicine contains lactose. Please only take this medicine after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from sugar intolerance. 1 tablet = 0.025 BU.

Dosage and method of use:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: Unless otherwise prescribed: allow one tablet to dissolve in the mouth 3 times a day; in the case of acute complaints/acute conditions, allow 1 tablet to dissolve in the mouth every half to full hour up to 12 times a day.

Duration of treatment:
Mercurius-Heel S should not be used for longer than 8 weeks without medical advice.

Instructions for use:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects:
After use, salivation may occur due to the ingredient Mercurius solubilis; the medication should then be discontinued. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in isolated cases due to the ingredient Echinacea (coneflower). Skin rashes, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and a drop in blood pressure have been observed for medications containing preparations of coneflower. Note: When taking homeopathic medications, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial worsening). In this case, you should discontinue the medication and consult your doctor.
