Vemonis Ultra metamizole, caffeine, and drotaverine 12 tablets
Vemonis Ultra is a
combination medication that has both analgesic and antispasmodic properties. This makes it useful for pain associated with spasms such as intestinal colic or dysmenorrhea. It contains three active ingredients: metamizole, caffeine, and drotaverine. Vemonis Ultra is available as yellow, oval-shaped, film-coated tablets.
The
active ingredients are metamizole sodium (Metamizolum natricum), caffeine (Coffeinum), and drotaverine hydrochloride (Drotaverine hydrochloride).
Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg of metamizole sodium (Metamizolum natricum) as metamizole sodium monohydrate, 60 mg of caffeine (Coffeinum), and 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride (Drotaverine hydrochloridum).
Excipients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose (type 112); Lactose monohydrate; crospovidone (type A); talc; magnesium stearate. Coating (OPADRY AMB yellow): polyvinyl alcohol; titanium dioxide (E 171); talc; yellow iron oxide (E 172); soy lecithin; xanthan gum.
Dosage

Adults: one tablet two or three times daily. The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets.
Action
The action of Vemonis Ultra results from a combination of 3 active substances. Metamizole has analgesic, antipyretic, and antispasmodic effects. Caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of metamizole. It also has a relaxing effect on smooth muscles and a diuretic effect. Drotaverine relaxes the smooth muscles of internal organs.
Indications
for use of Vemonis Ultra: severe pain of various origins; pain associated with spasms of smooth muscles: of the genitourinary system (renal colic, dysmenorrhea), the gastrointestinal tract (intestinal colic, irritable bowel syndrome), the biliary tract (cholecystitis, cholangitis), when the use of other drugs is contraindicated.
