How are Metrovetsan drops taken?

Cattle and horses receive 15 ml of Metrovetsan; your dog or cat can receive 1–2 ml; pigs receive 10 ml of Metrovetsan; sheep and goats receive 5 ml of the solution. Metrovetsan is administered once and can be repeated after 1–2 days if necessary. You should not use Metrovetsan drops for a longer period of time without veterinary advice.

When administering, please follow the dosage instructions in the package insert. The product should not be stored above 25 degrees Celsius and should be used immediately after opening.

What should be considered when using Metrovetsan?

When taking homeopathic medicines, a temporary worsening of symptoms, known as an initial aggravation, may occur. In this case, the homeopathic remedy should be discontinued and a veterinarian or animal health practitioner should be contacted.

Metrovetsan should not be used in cases of closed uterine infection (pyometra) in bitches, or in puppies and young animals. The drug should also not be administered if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Metrovetsan. During pregnancy and lactation, you should consult your veterinarian before use.
