- The medical device Muconasin nasal spray is intended for use in the case of acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. The spray with N-acetylcysteine and sodium chloride helps to alleviate the symptoms of these infections.
Composition of Muconasin nasal spray:
N-acetylcysteine – 1.8g, sodium chloride – 0.9g. Excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, purified water. Contains no preservatives.

Muconasin nasal spray is a medical device that liquefies nasal secretions and unclogs the nose and sinuses. The spray relieves symptoms of acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. The composition includes N-acetylcysteine and buffered hypertonic sodium chloride solution. Hypertonic saline solution thins mucus and facilitates its removal. N-acetylcysteine has a mucolytic effect. The preparation enables mechanical removal of mucous or mucopurulent secretions that accumulate in the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses.

It is recommended to protect it from moisture, light and sources of heat. One package should be used by one person. Hypersensitivity may occur with long-term use of topical preparations. If hypersensitivity symptoms occur, consult a doctor. After spraying, the preparation has a sulfur smell, this does not affect its properties. The possibility of use in pregnant and breastfeeding women should be discussed with a doctor, and the preparation can be used only when absolutely necessary and under medical supervision. Due to the high concentration of salt in the solution, the preparation may cause a natural burning sensation after application, which disappears within a few minutes. If any disturbing symptoms or side effects occur, discontinue use of the preparation and consult a doctor. After first opening, use within two months.
Contraindications:

How to use Muconasin nasal spray:
Use intranasally. Before first use, read the instructions for use. Apply 2-3 sprays to each nostril, apply 2-3 times a day. Do not use for longer than 10 days. The treatment can be repeated several times a year, but after each 10-day cycle, take a break of at least one week. How to use: remove the protective cap, shake the bottle, tilt your head back, gently insert the applicator into the nostril. Press the base of the applicator with two fingers. Spray the preparation 2-3 times. Repeat in the other nostril. Clean the applicator after use and put on the protective cap.
