Composition of Mufluil Hipertonic solution for instillation and nebulization:
One 5ml ampoule contains: 300mg of N-acetylcysteine, 150mg of sodium chloride and excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, water for injection.
Action of Mufluil Hipertonic solution for instillation and nebulization:
Mufluil Hipertonic solution for instillation and nebulization is a medical device intended for use in the form of nebulization into the bronchial tree using an inhaler, as well as by direct instillation into the ears and/or nose or by intrabronchial administration through a catheter or bronchoscope. Indications for the use of the preparation are respiratory diseases that are characterized by excessive production of thick and viscous secretions. It is a sterile, buffered solution with N-acetylcysteine and hypertonic sodium chloride solution (3% NaCl). The preparation thins thick and sticky mucus thanks to the physical and mechanical action of the ingredients it contains.
Application:
Mufluil Hipertonic medical device, solution for instillation and nebulization intended for use in the treatment of respiratory diseases that involve excessive production of thick and viscous secretion (including acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its complications, pulmonary emphysema, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis , sinusitis, effusion ear infections).
Additional information:
Store the product out of the reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not use after the expiration date. When opening the ampoule, a sulfurous odor is noticeable, which does not affect the use of the preparation. The solution may sometimes turn pink in an open ampoule or nebulizer container, but this does not affect the activity and tolerability of the preparation. People with bronchial asthma must be closely monitored during treatment. If bronchospasm occurs, N-acetylcysteine should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment initiated. The use of N-acetylcysteine in people treated with nitroglycerin-based drugs may cause a decrease in blood pressure with dilatation of the temporal artery and possible occurrence of headache. Before using this product, consult your doctor and monitor your blood pressure. This preparation should not be combined with antitussive drugs, as the reduction of the cough reflex may lead to the accumulation of bronchial secretions. This preparation can be administered together with bronchodilators that constrict blood vessels, but in such a situation it should be used for the shortest possible time. The simultaneous use of antibiotics and this preparation is not recommended. N-acetylcysteine may interfere with tests measuring salicylates and ketone bodies in urine. Before using this preparation, it is recommended to inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have recently used any medications (including those without a prescription). In women during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the preparation may be used only if absolutely necessary and under direct medical supervision.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the preparation. Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
How to use Mufluil Hipertonic instillation and nebulization solution:
Use as intended. Please read the instructions for use before use. It is recommended to open the ampoule immediately before use. If the solution has been mixed with other preparations, it should be used as soon as possible and not stored. Inhalation: nebulize one ampoule, use 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days. The frequency and doses can be modified by the physician within a wide range, taking into account the clinical and therapeutic effect, without the need to significantly differ the doses for adults and children. Instillation and rinsing of ears and other cavities: use 0.5-1 ampoule per application. Endotracheal-bronchial administration: use 1 ampoule per application, apply 1-2 times a day or as needed.
