- NACECIS due to the content acetylcysteine reduces the viscosity of mucus present in the airways and facilitate expectoration. Supports the treatment of infections of the respiratory tract extending difficult expectoration.
Composition:
active substance is acetylocysteina.1 effervescent tablet contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine.
Other ingredients are: anhydrous citric acid, isomalt, sodium bicarbonate, ascorbic acid, aspartame (E 951), lemon flavoring.
Action:
NACECIS operates on the basis acetylcysteine, which is an agent sekretolitycznym from the group mukolityków. It is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine. It has free groups, which contain sulfur atoms having the ability to break down of mucus glycoprotein into smaller particles and liquefaction and the limiting viscosity thereof. As a result, the preparation helps in expectoration of mucus present in the airways. Also supports the activity of the respiratory epithelium. It does not cause disturbances of the natural cough reflex. The active substance has antioxidant properties. NACECIS is in the form of effervescent tablets for solution to drink.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the active components of the product
- asthmatic condition
- phenylketonuria
Indications:
The formulation is suggested for use in the case of the common cold and other respiratory infections, accompanied by difficult expectoration. Used for short periods in adults.
Dosage:
For oral use. In adults, it is recommended to use 1 tabl./24h. Taken after eating, after dissolution of the tablet in a glass of water of 0.5. Do not use later than 4 hours before bedtime.
