Krill oil is extracted from small, shrimp-like crustaceans known as Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba). These tiny creatures, only a few centimeters long, contain the important omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
Recommended intake: Take 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid at mealtimes.
