The oil from the seeds of the perilla plant contains a very high percentage of polyunsaturated fatty acids. These are characterized by a nutritionally beneficial ratio: Omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA): Omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid: Omega-9 fatty acid oleic acid = 60:15:15. Compared to other vegetable oils, perilla oil stands out for its highest content of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). This omega-3 fatty acid can be used in the body to produce the "fish oil fatty acids" eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and decosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Recommended intake:
Take 7 capsules daily with plenty of liquid. 1 capsule contains 500 mg of organic perilla oil.
