OPC Pycnogenol®

OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) is a group of flavonols that belongs to the group of flavonoids or bioflavonoids. OPC belongs to a group of secondary plant substances. Proanthocyanidins are also a group of flavonoids that consist of polymers of catechins and epicatechins. Proanthocyanidins are found in grape seeds, grape skins, the leaves of red grapes, the shells of peanuts, apples, coconuts, larch wood and pine bark. The extract pycnogenol is obtained from the bark of the French maritime pine (Pinus pinaster subsp. atlantica).

Recommended dosage:
Take 2 capsules daily with some water. The recommended portion (daily dose) for an adult is two capsules. One capsule contains 50 mg of pycnogenol. A daily intake of 2 capsules corresponds to 100 mg of OPC.
