For the treatment of nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the oral cavity (oral thrush).
Warnings:
Contains parabens (E216, E218), propylene glycol, sucrose and cinnamon (cinnamaldehyde). Contains an aroma with cinnamaldehyde, geraniol, citronellol and linalool.

Favorable factors for the development of oral thrush are, for example, dentures, chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, HIV or therapy with broad-spectrum antibiotics or immunosuppressive drugs. Oral thrush is also a common local side effect when using inhaled glucocorticoids for respiratory diseases.11 Affected patients should have a snack or rinse their mouth briefly after using the sprays as prophylaxis.
Symptoms are a white coating on a very reddened oral mucosa with discomfort and occasional pain. Treatment for oral thrush should not be delayed, otherwise the fungus can invade the lungs and intestines.
In self-medication, Nystatin acis ® Mundgel or Nystatin acis® Suspension can be used.
Nystatin acis ® Mundgel is for use in nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the oral cavity (oral thrush).
