In addition to bitter substances, amino acids, minerals, trace elements such as zinc and copper, which are also contained in the herb, the dandelion root contains vitamins B, C and E, as well as carotenoids. These ingredients make it a valuable root. In the post-war period, a substitute coffee was made from the dried root of the plant (chicory root substitute).

ORGANIC DANDELION ROOT tea Application:
About 3 - 4 teaspoons (about 4 g) are poured over with hot water (about 150 ml) and passed through a tea strainer after about 5 to 10 minutes.
In addition to the tea, a pure decoction of dandelion roots has proven to be particularly effective. To do this, soak a heaping tablespoon of dandelion root in a quarter liter of cold water for 12 hours. After straining, drink a cup of the warmed brew half an hour before and half an hour after breakfast. The tea or a tablespoon of dandelion juice should also be drunk twice a day.
Coffee: grind the dried root in an old coffee grinder, boil a teaspoon of powder in a cup of water and strain immediately. If you let it steep for too long, it will become too bitter!
