The mixture makes the difference: Dreikraut's turmeric capsules contain both turmeric extract with 95% curcumin and the full turmeric with its natural spectrum of herbal active ingredients and nutrients. Plus the piperine contained in black pepper to improve the absorption of curcumin.
Three components work together in these turmeric capsules: The most important is a highly concentrated turmeric extract, the curcumin content of which has been enriched to 95%, i.e. essentially pure curcumin. Added to this is the whole, ground turmeric root with its diverse secondary plant substances.
The recipe is rounded off with piperine from black pepper. This is because curcumin dissolves poorly in water and is therefore difficult for the intestines to absorb. Even oily solutions do little to change this. This is because a large proportion of the curcuminoids are metabolized in the liver and kidneys and converted into ineffective metabolites. Piperine bypasses both effects and thus increases the bioavailability of curcumin by around 200 times. This fantastic value is also simply due to the fact that without an absorption aid, curcumin is hardly metabolized at all.
Piperine is also the component that gives black pepper its spiciness. If you are one of the few people who do not tolerate the spiciness of pepper, you can also switch to micellized, i.e. enzymatically coated curcumin.
The vegan capsules from Kurkuma forte are free from gluten, lactose, fructose or animal ingredients. Contains no allergens.
