For 60 to 70 million years, the original Rügen Three Crowns Healing Chalk® lay undisturbed in the "Rügen Chalk Sea." For about 100 years, the chalk has proven itself as a beneficial wellness factor, whether applied directly to the skin as a poultice or used in baths. Rügen chalk is a pure, allergen-free natural product. It is particularly distinguished by its aesthetic, snow-white color, its fine-grained structure, and its excellent ability to retain heat or cold. Original Rügen Three Crowns Healing Chalk® is a peloid that is used in its pure form in many health resorts.
The chalk from Rügen warms the body for a long time, cleanses and cares for the skin.
Mixed with water and used as a wrap, the product develops an increased ability to retain heat. Furthermore, it stimulates blood circulation and metabolic processes throughout the body. The chalk's absorbent properties and the exfoliation performed during cleansing after the wrap further enhance the product's beneficial effects. After using chalk, the skin feels noticeably softer.
In its pure form, chalk has no known side effects or allergic reactions. When used with algae, the only exceptions are kidney stones of alkaline origin or thyroid dysfunction. In these two cases, Rügen chalk should not be used. The chalk is not suitable for washing hair.
Application:
For daily facial cleansing:
Mix 1/2 tsp of Rügen chalk and 1 tsp of water in your hand and cleanse/wash your face. Rinse with water. For a clear, refined complexion.
Scrub:
Mix 1 teaspoon of Rügen chalk with 1 teaspoon of water. Apply once a week, massage gently for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Mask for normal and impure, large-pored skin:
Mix 1 tbsp of Rügen chalk with 1 tbsp of warm water to form a paste-like cream and apply, cover with a damp cloth and leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For general well-being:

Approx. 98% calcium carbonate, with minor components including magnesium carbonate, silicon, iron and aluminum compounds, as well as compounds containing minerals and trace elements (phosphorus, sulfur, etc.).
