Pharyngitis and laryngitis, Orofar Total Action throat spray 30ml

The indications for using the Orofar Total Action aerosol are oral infections: inflammation of the gums, infections and ulcerations of the oral mucosa (aphthae); throat infections, sore throat associated with colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis.

Orofar Total Action throat spray, colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis Composition:

1 tabl. for sucking contains 1 mg benzoxonium chloride and 1 mg lidocaine hydrochloride. 1 ml liquid contains 0.5 mg benzoxonium chloride and 0.5 mg lidocaine hydrochloride. 1 ml of spray contains 2 mg benzoxonium chloride and 1.5 mg lidocaine hydrochloride.

Orofar Total Action throat spray, colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis Action:

Antimicrobial and analgesic preparation. Benzoxonium chloride, a cationic surfactant, acts bacteriostatic and bactericidal (especially bacteria responsible for mouth and throat infections and involved in plaque formation), as well as fungicidal and antiviral (influenza, parainfluenza, herpesviruses). Practically not absorbed. Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect. Absorbed through the buccal mucosa, bioavailability is 35%. Metabolism occurs in the liver, and excretion through the kidneys.

Oral infections: gingivitis, infections and sores of the oral mucosa (aphthae); throat infections, sore throat associated with colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis; prevention of bacterial plaque formation. Supportively in the treatment of tonsillitis. The fluid can also be used in daily oral care.

Pregnancy Orofar Total Action throat spray, colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis and breast-feeding :
Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding only when clearly necessary.

Dosage Orofar Total Action throat spray, colds, pharyngitis and laryngitis:

Aerosol: adults: spray 4 times in the mouth or the back of the throat 3-6 times a day; children over 4 years of age: spray 2-3 times a day.
