Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance. The omega-3 fatty acid DHA helps maintain normal brain function. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of at least 250 mg DHA. Vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, biotin, niacin, vitamin C and magnesium contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Zinc contributes to normal cognitive function. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin C and vitamin E as well as zinc and selenium help protect cells from oxidative stress.

How do I take Orthomol Mental?
Stir the contents of one sachet (= daily portion) into approx. 150 - 200 ml of still water or fruit juice and take with or after a meal together with the capsules.

How long should I take Orthomol Mental?
Micronutrients are used by the body on a daily basis, so regular use over a longer period of time is recommended.

What do I have to consider?

• Orthomol Mental in the form of granules contains carbohydrates. In the case of glucose tolerance disorders, use only under careful metabolic control. The carbohydrates contained (11.2 g per daily portion) are readily available.
• Due to individual indications that ginkgo preparations and simultaneous anticoagulant therapy, e.g. B. with Marcumar or ASA, can lead to an increase in the tendency to bleed, Orthomol Mental should only be taken after consultation with the doctor in the case of a pathologically increased tendency to bleed and simultaneous treatment with anticoagulants. This also decides whether Orthomol Mental may have to be discontinued before an operation.
• The recommended daily portion must not be exceeded.
• Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Are there any other useful tips?

• Orthomol Mental is lactose and gluten free.
• Due to the vitamin B2 content, the urine can turn yellow.
• The product contains strong coloring beta-carotene (provitamin A). Any stains that may appear, e.g. B. on clothing, are difficult to remove.
