Voltaren Pain Gel Forte
Pain relief gel for up to 12 hours. Voltaren Pain Relief Gel Forte relieves acute joint pain resulting from blunt trauma (e.g., back and neck pain) for up to 12 hours – directly at the affected area.
Active ingredient:
Diclofenac-N-Ethylethanamine 23.2 mg in 1 g of gel (equivalent to 20 mg of diclofenac sodium).
The other ingredients are:
Purified water; 2-propanol; propylene glycol; cocoyl caprylocaprate (Ph.Eur.); paraffin; macrogol cetostearyl ether; carbomer; N-ethylethanamine; oleyl alcohol; eucalyptus-containing perfume; butylhydroxytoluene.
Application:
- Easy-open cap on 100g, 150g, and 180g packs. Tamper-evident tabs on each side of the snap closure break off the first time the cap is opened. Check that the tamper-evident tabs are intact before first use. Simply turn the cap over. Use a finger, thumb, the side of your hand, or even the edge of a table against the underside of the cap to open the snap closure. It's that easy!
- Squeeze out a small amount, which can range in size from a cherry to a walnut depending on the size of the area to be treated.
- Gently rub the skin where you feel body pain.
- Apply Voltaren Pain Gel Forte twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening.
- Afterwards, wipe your hands on a paper towel and then wash them, unless they are the area being treated. Dispose of the paper towel in the regular trash. Allow the gel to dry on the skin for a few minutes before applying a bandage. Also, wait until the gel has dried on the skin before showering or bathing.
