Cinnabsin tablets for sinusitis

Cinnabsin from DHU relieves the typical symptoms of acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).

In acute sinusitis, symptoms typically last 8 to 14 days and include pressure headaches, runny nose, and nasal congestion. If symptoms persist for more than 12 weeks, it is referred to as chronic sinusitis.

With Cinnabsin you buy a homeopathic medicine from DHU

Cinnabsin is a complex remedy that contains four individual homeopathic active ingredients .

  • Cinnabars
  • Hydrastis
  • Kalium bichromicum
  • Echinacea

These active ingredients complement each other perfectly in their effects in the treatment of sinus inflammation and stimulate the body's self-healing powers.

What effect does Cinnabsin have?

Cinnabsin counteracts sinusitis by reducing swelling and thus easing breathing. It thins secretions , allowing them to drain more easily. The feeling of pressure in the sinuses and throughout the head area can be reduced.

How to dose Cinnabsin in adults

Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose is:

  • In acute conditions , adults and children 12 years and older should dissolve one tablet in the mouth every half to one hour, up to a maximum of 6 times a day .
  • In chronic cases or for subsequent treatment, dissolve one tablet in the mouth 1 to 3 times a day .
  • Reduce the frequency of use if symptoms improve.

When using it, please note:

  • Take the tablets half an hour before or after a meal.
  • Use beyond four weeks should only be undertaken after consultation with a doctor.

Please note the information on taking Cinnabsin in children

Cinnabsin can be used in children 6 years and older. However, the dose should be adjusted. Children 6 to 12 years of age receive only half the adult dose.

Single dose:

  • It is recommended to dissolve the tablets in a little water. To do this, dissolve one tablet in 6 teaspoons of water . Administer 3 teaspoons of this solution . Discard the rest of the solution.

Frequency of intake per day:

  • In case of acute symptoms, the medication should be taken every half to full hour for the first 2 days, up to a maximum of 6 times a day .
  • For subsequent treatment or in chronic cases, the medication is taken 1 to 3 times daily .
  • If symptoms improve, the frequency of intake should be reduced.

General information to note:

  • Administer the solution half an hour before or after meals.
