Pippali (long pepper) is a delicious spice plant from the pepper family. It is a slender, fragrant climbing plant that grows in the hot regions of India. It is used, among other things, in Ayurvedic nutrition and various medicinal products. Pippali is similar to black pepper in its properties, but the piperine and piperonaline make it gentler, milder and very easily digestible.
