ASA is also used in the prevention of myocardial infarction and thromboembolic complications after a heart attack or after a stroke. The innovative combination of acetylsalicylic acid and glycine ensures the safety of use for people exposed to acid-induced irritation. The addition of glycine affects the solubility of acetylsalicylic acid, which facilitates its absorption and prevents harmful effects on the gastric mucosa.

Application:
Pluscard is indicated in the prevention of myocardial infarction, in the prevention of thromboembolic complications after myocardial infarction, stroke, coronary artery procedures, and angina pectoris.

Dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 16 years depending on need:
Prevention of myocardial infarction - usually 1 tablet a day.
Prevention of thromboembolic complications after: myocardial infarction - usually 1 tablet a day, after a stroke - usually 2 tablets a day.
Prevention of thromboembolic complications after coronary vessels - usually 1 tablet a day.
In angina - usually 1 tablet a day.

Elderly:
There are no specific data on the benefit-risk balance of
aspirin in this patient group.

Patients with renal and / or hepatic failure:
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe renal impairment and / or liver disease.

Method of administration:
The tablets should be taken with or after a meal with water.
