Prenatal® primo is a preparation recommended for women planning a pregnancy. It contains carefully selected ingredients in recommended portions, which complement the diet and have a positive effect on fertility and, in the case of pregnancy, its proper course and fetal development.

Properties

Zinc helps maintain proper fertility and reproductive functions. Research results indicate that this element is important for the processes involved in the growth of female reproductive cells, fertility and pregnancy. An adequate supply of zinc in the diet is necessary for the proper formation of an egg cell capable of fertilization and affects its maturation and quality. The supply of zinc before fertilization is important for the process of embryo division and differentiation, as well as the development of the fetus, including its limbs and neural tube. Formula®

is a set of ingredients that protect the genetic material (DNA) of the embryo and improve the closing of the neural tube.
• DNA protection – research results indicate the significant role of choline in protection against DNA damage* and in the proper functioning of the central nervous system, including the structures responsible for memory.
• Reduction in the development of neural tube defects – supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate levels. Low folate levels in the mother are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects (Neural Tube Defects) in the developing fetus.
• Support for the proper development of the child**** FolActiv® is a combination of folic acid and its active form. Supplementation of both these forms of folates before and during pregnancy is an important element in the prevention of neural tube defects, recommended by the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians*. The active form of folate is important for women with slower folic acid metabolism. This applies to every second woman in Poland.

Ingredients

- Choline - contributes to maintaining proper homocysteine ​​metabolism, which has a beneficial effect on the course of pregnancy and the health of the child1, and also helps in the proper functioning of the liver, and is an essential ingredient in the process of sperm maturation.
- Vitamin D - helps in the proper functioning of the immune and muscular systems. It influences the normalization of inflammatory processes and takes part in the process of cell division.1 In addition, it increases the absorption of calcium from the diet, contributing to the maintenance of healthy teeth and bones.
- Vitamin B6 - helps reduce the feeling of fatigue and weariness and has a beneficial effect on maintaining psychological functions. Moreover, it contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. This vitamin affects the proper metabolism of protein and amino acids, including cysteine, which is a building block of hair - keratin. It has also been proven that it facilitates the absorption of magnesium and is involved in epigenetic processes.
- Folates - FolActiv® - take part in the process of cell division, which is important for the growth of the fetus and the growth of hair bulbs, skin cells and nails. Folate also helps maintain proper homocysteine ​​metabolism, which has a beneficial effect on the course of pregnancy and the health of the child, and also contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system.

Use

It is best to take one capsule a day with a meal. In case of increased demand, the method of use should be consulted with a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The preparation cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and proper lifestyle are important for the functioning of the human body. The beneficial effects of the ingredients of the preparation, as indicated in the health claims, result from the appropriate amount of active ingredients used in accordance with the method of use.
