The Bioniq® Repair Toothpaste Plus breaks new ground with innovative solutions from biomimetics. The artificial tooth enamel smoothes the surface of the tooth enamel so that bacteria find it very difficult to gain a foothold. In addition, Bioniq® Repair Toothpaste Plus contains lactoferrin and hyaluronic acid, two active ingredients that are known for their protective function against bacteria:
lactoferrin is a natural antimicrobial agent that is also found in saliva. It is biologically active by withdrawing the vital iron (lat. ferrum) from the bacterial plaque.
Hyaluron is a well-known and proven biologically active ingredient. It supports the healthy moisture in the oral cavity. From a medical point of view, this moisture is very important because human saliva forms an important barrier against bacteria.
Prevent gingivitis, BIONIQ Repair Toothpaste Plus Protection for tooth enamel and gums
The artificial tooth enamel in the Bioniq® Repair products has a similar structure and composition to the basic building blocks of natural tooth enamel. It settles in the tooth surface and thus closes microscopically small defects. The artificial enamel also compensates for initial losses in the tooth enamel, for example due to acids in food or drinks (so-called erosion).
With regular use, a protective layer forms that protects the natural tooth from wear and tear and colonization with bacteria. Achieve this effect simply by brushing your teeth every day — morning and evening for two minutes.
