Ailanthus altissima benefits

Ailanthus altissima has potent anti-anaphylactic and anti-inflammatory properties. Root and stem bark are antispasmodic, astringent, bitter, cardiac depressant, diuretic, emetic, febrifuge, rubefacient and vermifuge.

Okoubaka aubrevillei benefits

Its main applications are for stomach upsets caused by poisoning and to boost the system in cases of tiredness, depression and allergies. The bark is used as a fish poison. In southern Nigeria Okoubaka aubrevillei is an important tree in religious ceremonies. The wood is sometimes used for construction or as firewood.

Euphrasia officinalis benefits

The genus Euphrasia includes approximately 450 species. It is commonly known as eyebright and used to treat certain eye conditions [26]. Eyebright has an anti-inflammatory property that is also applied to relieve colds, coughs, sinus infections, sore throats, and hay fever.

Gratiola officinalis  benefits

The root and the flowering herb are cardiac, diuretic, violently purgative and vermifuge. The plant has been used in the treatment of liver problems, enlargement of the spleen, dropsy, jaundice, intestinal worms etc.

Juglans regia benefits

(Juglans regia L.) belong to the family Juglandaceae and are a good source of fat, protein, vitamins and minerals along with phenolics which act as antioxidants. Walnuts are ranked second after blackberries for their antioxidant activities.

Smilax benefits

Sarsaparilla contains a wealth of plant chemicals thought to have a beneficial effect on the human body. Chemicals known as saponins might help reduce joint pain and skin itching, and also kill bacteria. Other chemicals may be helpful in reducing inflammation and protecting the liver from damage.

What is Taraxacum officinale used for?

Although most people think of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a pesky weed, the plant has long been used in herbal medicine to aid in digestion and help stimulate appetite. The entire dandelion plant from root to blossom is edible with a slightly bitter, chicory-like taste.
