Propolis is a resinous, sterile substance that bees collect from the buds of deciduous trees to line the interior of their hives. Propolis's primary function is to provide and maintain an antiseptic environment within the hive. Honeybees use propolis to protect their larvae and themselves against harmful microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, or fungi, and to disinfect the hive. Propolis's antioxidant capacity is high due to its high content of flavonoids and phenolic compounds.
RECOMMENDED DAILY INTAKE:
• Children between 4-10 years: 5ml twice daily
• The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
