This active ingredient, obtained from a natural lactic acid bacterium, is used against the stomach germ Helicobacter pylori and consists of the bacterial strain Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17648. This bacterial strain is inactivated and thus receives special binding properties, which also makes it resistant to gastric acid. The lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus has the ability to bind Helicobacter cells to itself in seconds without affecting the natural intestinal bacteria. The bacteria bound to this unique Pylopass ™ lactic acid are excreted with the stool.

PylopassTM MONO contains an inactivated strain of Lactobacillus reuteri for diet management of gastric mucosal inflammation caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. It can specifically bind Helicobacter pylori in the stomach and cause it to be excreted.
