DIP RILIF gel is a fast-acting and long-lasting medication recommended for muscle and joint pain. Thanks to the combination of two active ingredients – ibuprofen and menthol – it provides immediate relief, quickly relieving pain, and the feeling lasts for many hours. Ibuprofen belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (
NSAIDs
) and has strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces inflammation in the affected area, relieves pain, and reduces swelling. Menthol acts as a local anesthetic and also causes local tissue congestion. The combined action of both ingredients provides pain relief very quickly after applying the gel to the skin, and this effect lasts for many hours. The ibuprofen contained in Dip Rilif is absorbed through the skin in sufficient amounts to provide therapeutic concentrations in the joints. Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation, acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, in people with asthma who have previously experienced attacks of shortness of breath, rash, rhinitis or other allergic symptoms after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
