In very rare cases, people with fair skin develop a skin reaction with redness similar to sunburn after taking products containing St. John's wort and subsequent sun exposure. Therefore, persons who are sensitive to light should avoid prolonged direct sunlight and visits to solariums during the administration of RESTARTA.
RESTARTA should not be used in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to St. John's wort, valerian or any of the excipients.
If you are taking medicines to suppress haemoptysis (anticoagulant tablets with the active substances acenocoumarol, phenprocoumon or warfarin) or the medicine cyclosporine to suppress the immune system (eg after an organ transplant or in an autoimmune disease), their effect may be reduced by taking cannabis. In these cases, the use of RESTARTA is only allowed after consultation with your doctor and under his supervision.
Do not take concomitantly with antidepressants.
What should you do if RESTARTA has been overdosed?
Although a commonly harmless drug that has been tested and used, the use of RESTARTA requires caution in hypersensitive individuals. Prolonged use or overdose may show signs such as dizziness, drowsiness, indigestion and increased blood clotting. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms occur.
