Allertec WZF
is an antiallergic drug containing cetirizine, which is used in adults and children aged 6 years and over
- to relieve symptoms of the nose and eyes associated with seasonal and chronic allergic rhinitis (such as blocked nose, large amount of watery nasal discharge, itchy nose, frequent sneezing, red eyes, tearing, itchy eyes)
- to relieve symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (long-term, severely itchy wheals on the skin).
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives. Do not use in people with severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml / min. Do not use in people with hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Side effects
Some people may experience side effects while taking the medicine. Stop using it and contact your doctor immediately if you experience the first symptoms of hypersensitivity - swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, difficulty breathing/swallowing. Common side effects: fatigue, drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, pharyngitis, rhinitis. Uncommon side effects: abdominal pain, asthenia, malaise, sensory disturbances, agitation, itching, rash. Rare side effects: rapid heartbeat, swelling, allergy, abnormal liver function, weight gain, hives, disorientation, depression, hallucinations, insomnia. Very rare side effects: accommodation disorders, blurred vision, oculogyration, syncope, tremor, taste disturbances, tics, urination disorders, angioedema, drug rash. Side effects with unknown frequency: increased appetite, amnesia, memory disorders, urinary retention.
