ROSALGIN Application:
Rosalgin contains benzydamine hydrochloride as the active substance. Benzidamine has pronounced anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. When applied topically, benzydamine penetrates well into the skin and the surface of the mucosa and improves the condition of inflamed tissues.
Rosalgin is used in:
- Vulvovaginitis and cervicovaginitis of various origins, including secondary conditions after chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
- Pre- and postoperative prophylaxis in gynecological operations
Do not use Rosalgin if you are allergic to the active substance benzydamine hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients of Rosalgin
Topical application of Rosalgin does not interfere with routine tissue examinations.
If there is a proven cause of infection, Rosalgin treatment should be supplemented with appropriate therapy aimed at the causative agent.
Pregnancy and lactation
When used as intended, it is possible to use this drug during pregnancy and lactation.
ROSALGIN Usage:
Rosalgin is intended for vaginal lavage.
One sachet of Rosalgin granules is dissolved in 1/2 liter of lukewarm water.
As a vaginal shower for this purpose, an ordinary women's shower is used, which is filled with the solution. The cannula is inserted into the vagina and the contents of the bottle are pumped out completely. After infusion of the solution, the tip is removed from the vagina.
Vaginal washes are done in the shower, but also on the toilet bowl or bidet.
The finished solution can be used without a vaginal shower to clean the external intimate parts.
How often Rosalgin granules are used:
Generally, one to two vaginal lavages are performed daily for 10 days.
Possible side effects:
Prolonged use of medicinal products for vaginal administration may cause allergic reactions

Active substance: benzydamine hydrochloride - 500 mg
The other ingredients are: trimethylcetylammonium paratoluenesulfonate, povidone and sodium chloride.
