Sodium selenite is a homeopathic medicine that is FDA approved for the procedure of digestive support following dental amalgam removal.

Composition:
10 ml mixture contain: 0.8 ml sodium selenosum dil. D4 (HAB, v. 5a, solution D1 with purified water). Excipient: ethanol 15% (w/w).

Application:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age: Take 5 drops 1 to 3 times a day. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 receive no more than two thirds of the adult dose. It is recommended to use the medicine diluted with water for children. Exceeding this dosage should be avoided, otherwise health risks cannot be ruled out. Further substitution of selenium, eg by taking additional selenium preparations, should be avoided.

Contraindications:
In the case of alcohol or liver diseases, the drug should only be used after consulting a doctor due to the alcohol content.
Interactions:
None known.
Precautions:
Since there is no sufficiently documented experience during pregnancy and breastfeeding, Selenokehl® should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor. There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Warning:
Contains 20% alcohol (ethanol) by volume.
