For the supportive treatment of chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and toxic liver damage.
This drug therapy does not replace d. Avoidance of the causes that damage the liver (e.g. alcohol). In the case of jaundice (light to dark yellow skin discoloration, yellow discoloration of the whites of the eyes), a doctor should be consulted.
Note: This drug is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning.

For the supportive treatment of chronic inflammatory liver diseases. Cirrhosis of the liver and toxic liver damage. The drug is not intended for the treatment of acute poisoning.
Dosage, type and duration of application
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 hard capsule (milk thistle fruit dry extract corresponding to 334 mg silymarin) twice a day.
The hard capsules are swallowed whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) after each meal.
The attending physician decides on the duration of the intake.
children
There are insufficient studies on the use of Silymarin forte-CT hard capsules in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.
