SmectaGo Caramel-Cocoa
Flavor is a medical device in sachets containing a ready-to -
drink suspension, developed for adults and children over 8 years of age to stop and treat diarrhea and relieve abdominal pain. SmectaGo is an easy-to-use product – it's ready to consume after opening the sachet. Its caramel-cocoa flavor makes it a popular choice for children as well.
The main ingredient in SmectaGo® is diosmectite – a natural clay that helps stop and treat diarrhea and relieve abdominal pain.
Diosmectite has absorption properties. It binds toxic substances and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses) and facilitates their elimination from the body. Furthermore, its coating properties protect the gastrointestinal tract and support the repair of damaged tissue.
SmectaGo helps stop diarrhea, relieve abdominal pain, and remove toxic substances. When used in children with acute diarrhea, concomitant oral rehydration therapy is necessary for the treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults.
Ingredients : 1 sachet contains: active substance: 3 g diosmectite, other ingredients: cocoa-caramel flavor, xanthan gum, citric acid monohydrate, ascorbic acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water, cocoa-caramel flavor composition: a mixture of natural and synthetic flavors, caramel color E150d, caramelized sugar syrup, propylene glycol E1520, water, ethanol, caffeine.
The medical device should be taken orally.
The contents can be taken directly from the sachet. The sachet should be lightly crushed before opening. Each sachet should be for single use only once opened.
Acute diarrhea:
Children 8-15 years: Initial dose: 2 sachets, then 1 sachet after each loose stool, up to a maximum of 4 sachets per day. Oral rehydration therapy (ORP) should be used to replace fluids lost due to diarrhea and prevent dehydration. Adults and children over 15 years: Initial dose: 2 sachets, then 1 sachet after each loose stool, up to a maximum of 6 sachets per day.
This product can be used for up to 3 days. If diarrhea persists for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
Chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain : Adults (only): Up to 3 sachets per day (1 sachet in the morning, 1 sachet at noon, 1 sachet in the evening), as needed. Treatment should not exceed 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. Long-term or repeated use is not recommended. 8 sachets per pack
