Deltamedica Sodium Chloride Solution 0.9% is a potassium-free 0.9% sodium chloride solution.
It serves as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and compatible medications.

How should Deltamedica sodium chloride solution 0.9% be used?
Deltamedica sodium chloride solution 0.9% will be administered to you by a doctor or nursing staff. Your doctor will decide how much you need and when it will be administered.
Dosage, method of administration, and duration of use depend on the corresponding instructions for the medicine dissolved in Deltamedica sodium chloride solution 0.9%. When using Deltamedica sodium chloride solution 0.9% as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates, the instructions for use for the medicine to be mixed must be strictly
observed.
For subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous injection.
If you use more Deltamedica sodium chloride solution 0.9% than you should,
the following symptoms may occur in the event of an overdose:

Overwatering

elevated sodium or chloride blood levels (hypernatremia or hyperchloremia)
-
increased osmotic pressure in the blood (hyperosmolarity)
-
cause a metabolic disorder with hyperacidity of the blood (induction of an acidotic metabolic state).
Treatment in case of overdose:
Discontinue the supply of the solution, accelerate its elimination via the kidneys, and reduce the supply of the corresponding electrolytes.
If a medicine has been added to Deltamedica 0.9% sodium chloride solution, the added medicine may also cause side effects.

If you stop using Deltamedica 0.9% sodium chloride solution,
your doctor will decide when to stop using it.
