VISMED GEL disposable doses sodium hyaluronate
VISMED sodium hyaluronate, VISMED GEL
Effective solution for dry eyes
Dry eyes are known in technical terms as "keratoconjunctivitis sicca" and are one of the most frequently diagnosed eye diseases. The cause of the complex disease is often increased evaporation of the tear film as a result of a disruption in the final layer of the tear film. Typical symptoms are burning, itching and scratching of the eyes as well as increased tear flow or an unpleasant foreign body sensation in the eye. Often the eyes are also red and feel tired.
The chronic disease requires regular check-ups by the ophthalmologist. High-quality medical wetting solutions with hyaluronic acid have proven themselves for the treatment of dry eyes. For intensive moisturizing, the use of thicker gels is recommended. The viscosity of an eye gel feared by patients does not exist with
VISMED sodium hyaluronate, VISMED ® GEL.
The preparation impresses with its pleasantly liquid consistency, so that the gel feels silky soft on the eye - without visual impairment. The long-lasting tear substitute is also free of preservatives and is therefore very well tolerated. The resealable ampoules can be used up to 12 hours after opening. With hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is an endogenous substance that is contained in the tear film, among other things, and ensures that moisture is stored and nutrients can be transported.
With special physical and chemical properties, biotechnologically produced hyaluronic acid solutions are similar to natural tear fluid and are therefore often used in ophthalmology to treat dry eyes. Clinical studies prove the effectiveness of VISMED ® GEL and a significant reduction in symptoms.*

USE VISMED sodium hyaluronate, VISMED GEL RECOMMENDATION:
Unscrew the cap from the single-dose container and hold the opening of the ampoule over the eye to be treated. VISMED ® GEL can be easily dripped out of the ampoule with a little finger pressure. Unless otherwise recommended by a doctor, drip 1 to 2 drops of eye gel into the conjunctival sac as required. The solution spreads through the blink of an eye and forms a transparent, durable layer of liquid on the surface of the eye. Do not touch the dropper opening of the ampoule during use and do not put it directly in the eye. Do not use damaged ampoules.
COMMON CAUSES OF DRY EYES:
HORMONAL CHANGES The hormonal changes during menopause and pregnancy can cause dry eyes and unpleasant symptoms.
DISEASES
Illnesses such as diabetes, neurodermatitis or rheumatism often result in dry eyes. Taking medications such as psychotropic drugs and beta-blockers can also affect the production of the tear film.
CLIMATIC FACTORS The quality and quantity of tears is also affected by external factors such as cold, wind, dust and smoke, as well as prolonged exposure to air-conditioned environments such as offices, cars and other modes of transport.
IMBALANCED DIET An unbalanced diet affects the tear film and, in turn, eye health. In addition, our water balance indirectly influences the amount of tears.
