Active ingredient: thyme fluid extract.

Indications for use:
symptoms of bronchitis and whooping cough. Catarrhs ​​of the upper respiratory tract.

Soledum cough syrup contains 5.8% alcohol by volume.
Special note for diabetics: 1 teaspoon corresponds to 0.15 bread units.

Indication / application

  • The preparation is a herbal medicine to dissolve mucus and make it easier to cough.
  • To relieve the symptoms of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus and to relieve the symptoms of acute bronchitis.

SOLEDUM cough syrup dosage

  • Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • The recommended dose is:
    • Adults and adolescents from 12 years
      • Single dose: 2 teaspoons = 10 ml
      • Daily dose: 30 - 40 ml
    • Children 6-12 years
      • Single dose: 1 teaspoon = 5 ml
      • Daily dose: 15-20 ml
    • Children 3 - 6 years
      • Single dose: 1/2 teaspoon = 2.5 ml
      • Daily dose: 7.5-10 ml
    • Infants, toddlers
      • Single dose: 1/4 teaspoon = 1.25 ml
      • Daily dose: 3.75 - 5ml
  • The single dose is taken 3 to 4 times a day.

 

  • Duration of application:
    • The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease. In any case, please note the information in the paragraph under "Take special care when taking" in the "Patient information" category and the information under "Side effects" category.
  • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you take more than you should
    • Poisoning with preparations made from thyme herb fluid extract has not yet become known.
    • If you ingest too large amounts, please notify a doctor if necessary. The latter can decide on any measures that may be required. The side effects listed below may be more pronounced.

 

  • If you forget to take a dose
    • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose, but continue as prescribed by your doctor or as described in the dosage instructions.

  • Like all medicines, this medicine can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
