Reishi, or Ganoderma lucidum, is a species of mushroom known in Poland as the lingzhi mushroom. Its main active compounds include polysaccharides (the most important being beta-glucans) and triterpenoids.
Shiitake, or Lentinula edodes, is known in Poland as the edible shiitake mushroom and naturally contains primarily carbohydrates and protein amino acids.
Maitake, or Grifola frondosa, commonly known as the leafy grifola, naturally contains 59% carbohydrates, 21% protein, 10% fiber, and 3% fat on a dry weight basis.
