Like the Soventol Protect mosquito repellent, the tick repellent spray is characterized by the plant-based and well-tolerated active ingredient PMD. This is obtained from the essential oils of the lemon eucalyptus tree and simply makes people uninteresting to ticks after application. As a repellent, Soventol Protect also has another important advantage: the defense spray is water-resistant and sweat-proof, which is why it is particularly suitable for active people and athletes. For example, you are also fully protected against ticks on hiking tours through forests and mountains as well as during the daily jog, because after all, they often lurk at the side of the road and in meadows. PMD: A plant-based active ingredient
Soventol® PROTECT contains the plant-based active ingredient p-menthane-3,8-diol, "PMD" for short. Derived from the essential oil of the lemon eucalyptus tree, this ingredient has been shown to protect against ticks.
And this is how PMD works: When it is applied, a special smell develops that ensures that humans are simply no longer interesting to the ticks.
The skin compatibility is dermatologically tested.
Water-resistant and sweat-proof
Whether on the side of the path or in tall grass – danger lurks here during tick season. In particular, people who are active in sports, e.g. B. like jogging or hiking in nature, have to reckon with tick bites. All the better that Soventol® PROTECT has decisive advantages over many conventional tick repellents: it is both water-resistant and sweat-proof.
Application
For the correct application of Soventol® PROTECT, please also observe the instructions on the packaging.
In general, the application is as follows: Spray Soventol® PROTECT evenly and completely onto the body and then rub it in.
For use on the face, Soventol® PROTECT should first be sprayed into the palms of the hands and then spread sparingly over the face. The eyes and mouth area should be avoided.
Tip: Skin areas that are covered by light textiles should also be sprayed - ticks can also bite there. If you use sunscreen, Soventol® PROTECT should only be applied afterwards and after a short waiting period.
You can use Soventol® PROTECT several times a day without having to observe a "safety waiting period". In this way, the protection period can be extended further.
Note:
Soventol® PROTECT is not suitable for infants. Soventol® PROTECT can be used on small children from the age of 1 year.
