
Starazolin 0.5mg/ml Eye drops 2x5ml
In the symptomatic treatment of conditions accompanied by swelling and hyperemia of the conjunctiva, caused by irritants such as dust, smoke, contact lenses, wind, bright sunlight, chlorinated water, cosmetics, as well as in allergic inflammations such as hay fever and grass pollen allergy.
Starazolin relieves accompanying symptoms such as burning, itching, pain, excessive tearing and irritation.
Dosage
The preparation is applied topically to the conjunctival sac. Usually, 1 to 2 drops of the preparation are instilled, 2 to 3 times a day. Long-term use of the preparation should be avoided, especially in children.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper, so as not to contaminate the solution. After instillation, close the container tightly.
In the case of disposable containers, the container should be torn off from the leaf. Twist off the extended end of the reservoir, then gently press the reservoir and introduce the squeezed drops into the conjunctival sac after discarding the first two drops.
Note. Starazolin is a sterile liquid.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper, and immediately secure the bottle with the cap after instillation. In the case of disposable packaging, the amount remaining after instillation is not suitable for reuse.
Before using the preparation, remove contact lenses and put them back on after approximately 15 minutes from instillation of the preparation.
Dosage in children
Tetryzoline is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
Active substance: tetryzolini hydrochloridum
Composition
1 ml of drops contains 0.5 mg of tetryzoline hydrochloride (Tetryzolini hydrochloridum).
The product contains benzalkonium chloride.
