Use disinfectants carefully.
Always read the label and product information before use.
Around 80% of all infections are transmitted via the hands. Whether on public transport or in buildings, at work or in any place where many people come into contact - there are risks of infection in many places, especially during flu or cold season.
Our hands are in motion every day and are used for many different things. This means that you are constantly coming into contact with potential sources of danger: work equipment, door handles, but even a simple handshake can pose an infection risk. Only hygienic hand disinfection can break a possible chain of infection and minimize the risk.
Disinfect your hands properly
For optimal effectiveness and to ensure that your hands do not have any gaps in coverage during hygienic hand disinfection, all areas of skin should be rubbed with a sufficient amount of hand disinfectant for at least 30 seconds. Carry
out each of the following steps one after the other (and again from the beginning until the 30 seconds have elapsed - use more hand disinfectant if necessary):
1. Rub palms of hands (including wrists) together
2. Rub palms over the backs of the hands
3. Rub palms together with spread, interlaced fingers
4. Rub the outside of the fingers on opposite palms with interlaced fingers
5. Rub both thumbs
6. Rub the closed fingertips in the palms of the hands
Please note that your hands should be dry before disinfection!
