Strophanthin g herbo, g-strophanthin supplement, Strophactiv WABAIN oral drops 50 ml
Active ingredient: Ouabainum (hom./anthr.) (50 mg per gram)
g-strophanthin supplement benefits:
In addition, strophanthin also has positive effects on heart health. It can lower blood pressure, improve heart function, and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. These effects make strophanthin a promising natural treatment option for people with heart problems.
Strophanthin has positive effects on heart function by increasing the contractility of the heart muscle and regulating the heart rate, which contributes to improved blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscle.
Ouabain, a cardiac glycoside similar to digitoxin, is used to treat congestive heart failure and supraventricular arrhythmias due to reentry mechanisms, and to control ventricular rate in the treatment of chronic atrial fibrillation.

What is Quabainum (Strophanthin)?
The German name for Ouabainum is g-Strophanthin. It is a glycoside (a sugar compound) extracted from the seeds of some Strophanthus species. Strophanthus is a genus of plants within the dogbane family and is found primarily in Africa. There, the seeds were traditionally used to make arrow poisons.
The Scottish missionary and renowned African explorer David Livingstone (1813-1873) brought Strophanthus to Europe in the mid-19th century to research its constituents. He became aware of the plant when the Scottish botanist John Kirk (1832-1922), who was traveling with Livingstone and suffered from angina pectoris, noticed an improvement in his heart problems after brushing his teeth with a toothbrush that had accidentally been contaminated with a small amount of the arrow poison from Strophanthus seeds.
Until the 1950s, strophanthin was a popular and widely used heart medication. Only with the advent of beta-blockers and medications like digitalis did the use of strophanthus preparations fade into the background.
