Characteristics

BioProtect in capsules is a synbiotic, i.e. a combination of probiotic and prebiotic in one capsule. The product was created for dogs and cats with gastrointestinal microflora disorders, which may be caused by diarrhea, taking deworming medications or the use of antibiotics, as well as for young growing animals and dogs and cats prone to constipation.
BioProtect is also available in the form of a paste, the composition of both preparations is different.

Synbiotic tablets for dogs, cats, BioProtect 200 mg capsules Composition

Live bacterial cultures 5,000,000,000 cfu: Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus rhamnosus
Probiotic bacteria 5,000,000 cfu.
Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS prebiotic) - 100 mg
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS prebiotic) - 100 mg

Use Synbiotic tablets for dogs, cats, BioProtect 200 mg capsules

The manufacturer allows opening the capsules and adding the preparation to the food or mixing it with a small amount of water for direct oral administration, e.g. using a small syringe. This use is convenient for cats and small dogs. However, if possible, it is better to administer the capsule whole.

Synbiotic tablets for dogs, cats, BioProtect 200 mg capsules:

- Animals undergoing antibiotic treatment - 1 capsule a day until 7 days after the end of therapy
- Animals during the growth period - 1 capsule a day for 20 days
- Diarrhea, tendency to constipation - 2 capsules a day for 10 days
- After deworming - 1 capsule a day for 7 days days

The animal must be provided with constant access to fresh water.
