Quick relief of the symptoms of dry eyes
In Germany, around 12-15 million people suffer from dry eyes, with women being affected slightly more often than men. 2 Typical symptoms include a foreign body sensation in the eye, burning eyes, watery, tired or sore eyes, visual disturbances, reddening of the conjunctiva and swollen or sticky eyelids. The HP-Guar formula Initially liquid when applied, Systane ®
ULTRA only turns into a protective gel on the eye. The HP-Guar (hydroxypropyl guar) it contains links all wetting-active substances to form a viscoelastic network. This stabilizes the tear film and ensures 200% better moisture retention3 than hyaluronic acid alone. The eye drops thus offer quick and lasting moisturizing and noticeable comfort for dry eyes. RECOMMENDED USE Systane ® ULTRA can be used daily as needed. Wash your hands before using eye drops. Open the bottle without touching the dropper tip. Hold the bottle between your thumb and fingers with the opening facing downwards. Tilt your head slightly back, look upwards and pull the lower eyelid away with your index finger. By applying light pressure to the bottom of the Drop-Tainer ® bottle , drip 1 drop into the conjunctival sac from above, without letting the tip of the bottle come into contact with the eye or the edge of the eyelid. Then blink. Air currents that hit the eyes directly, such as when blow-drying hair or from the air conditioning, should be avoided. At the same time, sufficient humidity should be ensured in rooms. If you read or work in front of a screen for a long time, it is advisable to take regular breaks. A healthy diet with a sufficient supply of omega-3 fatty acids is also useful.

For which contact lenses is Systane ® ULTRA lubricating drops suitable?
Systane ® ULTRA lubricating drops for the eyes can be used to moisten and re-wet contact lenses. They are suitable for silicone hydrogel contact lenses and all soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses such as daily lenses, monthly lenses and long-term wear lenses.
Are Systane ® ULTRA lubricating drops also suitable for cleaning contact lenses?
No, Systane ® ULTRA lubricating drops for the eyes is not a cleaning or disinfecting agent for contact lenses. The lenses cannot be soaked in Systane ® ULTRA wetting drops or disinfected with them.
